Basset Fauve de Bretagne  FCI group 6

The fauve is an alert, vivid and a very social dog. It is friendly, happy and cooperate often very well with his master. The Fauve is in Sweden used as a tracking and hunting dog. It is used to slowly hunt roedeer, hare, and fox and should be heard loud and clear. The Fauve is also a terrific petdog and they are very affectionate.

We have had the privilege to get our fauves from kennel Shiroblam, York England. Mrs P A Turton who has long experience and many successes with her fauves has aimed for a typical dog using bloodlines from France and England to get  the true Basset Fauve.
Our goal is to breed healthy, happy and correct fauves that can be your friend in the woods and at home.
